Custom Automated Shades

Beautifully Designed. Seamlessly automated

Smart Shades & Window Treatment

Experience the perfect combination of comfort, style, and smart technology with the right window treatment.

Smart Lutron Shades automatically adjust throughout the day, giving you the perfect balance of natural light, privacy, and comfort without you ever having to think about it. Open them with the morning sun, lower them during the hottest part of the day, or close them at sunset, all automatically or with the touch of a button.

Lutron shades operate quietly and smoothly, adding a touch of elegance to every room. With no cords or manual adjustments, they provide a clean, modern look that’s both safe and sophisticated.

For luxury homes in Miami and throughout South Florida, automated shades are becoming an important part of the complete smart home experience. Large windows and floor-to-ceiling glass provide incredible views and natural light, but they can also introduce heat, glare, fading from UV exposure, and a lack of privacy.
Custom automated Lutron shades give you control over all of it without taking away from the architecture or the view.

Smart Lutron Shades can do the following:

• Open and close automatically throughout the day.
• Control every shade from your smartphone, wall keypad, remote, or voice command.
• Create personalized schedules and scenes to match your daily routine.
• Adjust multiple shades at once with a single touch.
• Integrate seamlessly with your Lutron lighting system and other smart home devices.

Imagine waking up and having your bedroom shades slowly open to natural morning light. During the afternoon, shades on sun-exposed windows can automatically lower to help reduce glare and unwanted solar heat. When evening arrives, your shades can close to create privacy throughout your home.
You don’t have to walk from room to room adjusting window treatments. The home simply responds to the way you live.

More Than Motorized Shades

There is an important difference between simply motorizing a window treatment and creating a fully integrated smart shading system.
A basic motorized shade allows you to raise or lower the shade electronically. A professionally designed Lutron automated shading system can become part of your home’s larger automation experience.Your lighting and shades can work together through customized scenes. Press “Good Morning”, for example, and selected shades can open while your lighting adjusts for the start of your day. A “Movie” scene can lower the shades and adjust the lights for a more comfortable viewing environment. At bedtime, a “Good Night” command can lower designated shades while your home’s lighting responds at the same time.
The right technology should blend into your lifestyle, making everyday living more comfortable, more convenient, and more elegant.

Elevated Living with Custom Automated Shades

Beyond comfort, they help protect your furniture and flooring from harmful UV rays, improve energy efficiency, and blend seamlessly into your home’s design.
South Florida’s intense sunlight can be especially challenging in luxury residences with expansive glass. Over time, prolonged UV exposure can contribute to fading and discoloration of hardwood floors, artwork, furniture, rugs, and interior finishes. Automated shades allow you to better manage that sunlight throughout the day without permanently blocking your windows or beautiful views.
They can also contribute to a more comfortable indoor environment by reducing direct solar heat entering through windows during the hottest periods of the day. When integrated into a thoughtfully designed smart home, your shades, lighting, and climate-control strategy can work together to improve comfort and potentially reduce unnecessary energy use.

Designed Around Your Home

At Modern Media HD Group, we design and install custom smart Lutron shades and window treatments tailored to your requirement and personal style.
We help you choose the right fabrics, opacity, and style before professionally installing and programming your system for effortless everyday use.
Choosing the right shade isn’t simply about selecting a color. Different rooms may require different levels of light control and privacy. A living room overlooking the water may benefit from a fabric that manages glare while maintaining the view. Bedrooms may require room-darkening or blackout options for better privacy and sleep. Entertainment spaces may need greater light control for televisions, projection systems, or home theaters.
We help determine the right solution based on the room, window dimensions, sun exposure, privacy requirements, interior design, and how you actually use the space.

Lutron shades are available in a wide range of premium fabrics, colors, and styles, making them as beautiful as they are functional. The system can also be designed to complement modern architecture and luxury interiors, with discreet hardware and carefully selected fabrics that allow the technology to blend naturally into the space.

Perfect for Miami & South Florida Luxury Homes

Automated shades are particularly valuable in Miami, Miami Beach, Aventura, Sunny Isles Beach, Bal Harbour, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm beach and luxury residences and commercial buildings throughout South Florida.
Modern waterfront homes and high-rise condominiums often feature oversized windows designed to showcase spectacular ocean, Intracoastal, and skyline views. Those same windows can create significant glare, heat, and privacy challenges.

Custom Lutron motorized shades give homeowners the ability to enjoy those views when they want them and create privacy and light control when they need it.
For new construction and major renovations, planning your automated shading system early can also provide more opportunities to conceal wiring, power supplies, shade pockets, and other components for an exceptionally clean architectural finish. Existing homes and condominiums can also be evaluated for retrofit solutions depending on the property’s construction and window conditions.

One Room or the Entire Property

Whether you’re automating one room or an entire luxury residence or commercial space, we’ll create a solution that enhances your office or home’s aesthetic, comfort, and efficiency.
Your system can start with a few important windows and expand, or we can design a complete whole-home automated shading solution from the beginning.
For larger properties, centralized control makes an enormous difference. Instead of manually operating dozens of individual shades, homeowners can control specific rooms, groups of shades, entire floors, or the whole property from convenient keypads, mobile controls, programmed schedules, or integrated smart home scenes.
For luxury residences, this level of control becomes less about convenience alone and more about creating an environment that responds naturally throughout the day.

Lutron Lighting + Automated Shades

For an even more complete experience, combine your Lutron automated shades with Lutron lighting control.
Natural and artificial light can then work together instead of being controlled separately. During the day, your home can take advantage of available daylight while controlling glare and heat. As daylight fades, shades can close and your interior lighting can transition to the appropriate evening scene.
It’s a subtle difference but it’s one you experience every day.
